Salads, soups, and sides… Oh my. These things (at least the salads and soups) just sound healthy. But are they always? I mean if you mix a couple Reese’s peanut butter cups in a bowl of ice cream and throw in a small leaf of lettuce and add Coca-Cola for dressing, you’ve got a salad right? Or if the ice cream melts, then soup. Well those are extreme examples. But they make a point. The terms ‘salad’ and ‘soup’ are often linked in our brain with eating healthy.
